How did it go tonight? What was the cloudiest part? The clearest? Please give your on-the-spot reactions. If you can't seem to fit your comments into the flow of the class, feel free to comment here while the class is going on. Even if you comment during class, try to post a message in the 24 hours after class. If you have more to say, feel free to start a new topic. Your participation makes Ricci Street better for everyone. Thanks! |

Pretty neat! There is certainly a lot of information that I never even thought could be in our future, so I have a lot to learn. I am definitely excited to explore though. After going into a little more detail about each of the project choices, it became much clearer to me which topic I wanted to get into more. It was good to hear it all too. My perception of some of these items was blurry until we talked more about them. Seeing some of the video clips of examples was also very helpful. There are so many possibilities it is hard to narrow them down enough to concentrate on one topic to present/ train other students on. When I think of my topic on teleimmersion &/or immersive environments, there is are so many options/possibilities within that alone. ------------------

Class tonight was good. Like some others said in class, the videos helped me also understand about the topics more so. I enjoyed the website about the most successful inventions over the past two thousand years. It will be interesting to see what everyone else comes up with. |

Class went well, it was nice to see some new faces. The topics we had to choose from were pretty foreign to me. I was drawn to telematics for vehicles because I could see that relating to my life more as a consumer and I look forward to learning more... |

Class was long! It will take soem gettig used to, but I'll survive. A mixture of discussion, videos and others ideas is a huge help as always. Interactive learning and hands on is always a useful learning tool. If I said anymore it would all be repetition. |

Great first class, i love the touch-screen technology, and cant wait until a lap-top or home computer can perform like that, interesting videos and examples can keep you more focused after two or three hours of class, so let's keep the good stuff coming.... |

I agree with Tim, in that the class is long. I am going to have to work on staying focused but the material we are learning will help a lot. To be able to see what type of technology other companies are developing as we speak should make this an interesting class, then doing the research on what companies are possibly not even thinking of, should make it even more interesting |

This is a little late getting in, but here it goes: The first class was thought provoking....as always in Doug's classes there's a great deal to absorb and digest, let alone trying to select a research topic that will evoke great passion while researching...All of the technologies presented were interesting and as always I will need to settle on a few... |
