Topic: Interested in 601, 602 or 605 for summer ?

Please indicate if you would take 601, 602 or 605 if they were offered in the summer mod. I know there are several of us who need these courses.

Of course you know I need them all but I will add my name anyway. I went to the advisor page and made a list off all the people who need any of these courses I will post my results tonight. Here is what I have so far: 35 need 601; 17 for 602 and 21 for 605;including me and you, hopefully we can get enough people to sign for 601 since it looks like thats the winner of the 3. A lot of people still need foundation courses also so maybe someone from that group will get the ball rolling. I have posted the list on every place possible I could think of that people will see it to post a reply, hopefully we all can get together and benefit from this. But just in case you didn't see THE LIST somewhere else here it is again and don't forget to POST YOUR REPLY while you're here. THANKS  ------------------

I would take 602 in the summer. I was really hopeing it would be offered. |

I checked the list of courses that everyone is projected to take in the Fall. I found that 30 of us need 601. That is more than enough for a summer class to be offered in addition to the Mod 2 class so as not to mess up the fall schedule.We need 8 people to want the class. Please indicate if you would take 601 if it is offered. |

I am interested in taking any of the 601, 602 or 605 summer courses over the summer. I have spent my last 2 summers here while I was in undergrad and they are a great opportunity. |

If someone could get two lists of 8 people - one group committed to taking it in the summer (one night a week for 4 hours) and one group committed to taking it in the fall as scheduled, then I will seriously consider changing my mind and offering it. The ball is in your guys court (maybe it shouldn't have to be), but I appreciate the willingness of NaKia and Bonnie to try to establish the business case for running the course. (Look, I used Bistro code and smilies in the same message!) |

i will take any of those courses if offered in the summer cuase i wanted something to take and if need be i will take 601 in the summer or fall just tell me where u need me!! |

I just need 601 & I'd rather take it in the fall if it's still going to be available just because it should fit into my schedule better. |

I would be interested in 601 during the summer. I need to see what option would work out better for me either taking the class in the summer or fall. Nakia, I should have an answer for you by the end of the week. |

well I need 601 and was planning on taking it in the fall but if need be I will take it in the summer as I was planning on taking two classes in the summer anyway. I was going to take 624,698 and I would have completed my concentration, so as long as 601 only conflicts with one of the other courses I am in. |

So far so good THANKS to all of you who have responded. Check out the response so far. Keeping checking I will update them as I get more information. If anyone else is like Steve and I and wanted to take two classes please list your top two choices and if you just want one please list the one you are most interested in taking. ------------------

Count me in for the summer session of MBA 601 HR. But if students are needed for fall mod 2 I'll take the class at that time.

Hook me up with 601!!! I am all about taking that over the summer... preferable on Monday and Wednesday nights!!! Whoo Hoo!If that's not available, I would definately take 602. As far as 605 goes, it fits too perfectly in my fall schedule. |

Ryan - 624 will be offered this summer only. It will not be offered in the fall and I of offering it next spring. I'm more likely to do it again the following summer. |

Bert Stephen has also said he is interested in taking 601 this summer!!! So after 2 days on the Bistro it looks like we have 11 for 601 and 5 each for 602 and 605. I'm REALLY interested in 602 also anybody else??? PLEASE post even if you plan to take the class in the fall we need all information. SO what is the next step (1)picking a day and time; (2)getting the OK from Administration??? ------------------

Looking good for summer for 601. One step to go. I need to know that at least 8 will take it in the fall. 24 who need it, does not mean that they will register. If we get that piece set, then I will speak to Bill and Faith and the registrars and either teach it or find an adjunct.

Is there anyway people would be able to find out before we register on Monday, March 31. I only got a response from 19 people and I know there were close 48 students who need one of these 3 classes. Because a lot of people haven't responded we don't know how many people actually plan on taking the course in the fall. I hadn't planned on taking the class until Spring '04 so I'm not one of the people who will need the spot if it is not offered this summer.------------------
