Walt Disney World

    I recently completed an internship at Walt Disney World.  I was there from August 2006 until January 2007.  I was part of the Disney College Program.  I worked at Disney's MGM Studios at Sunset Ranch Market.  The music from the Beauty and the Beast show and screams from the Tower of Terror were my everyday backdrop.  I spent most of my time working, but also took a class on human resource management, which earned me college credit.  I had a great time.  I had free admission to all of the Disney Parks and got great discounts on hotels and merchandise.  The best part was all the amazing people I met from throughout the U.S. and around the world.  I now have friends from Brazil, Mexico, China, Japan, Puerto Rico and Canada.  My boyfriend Paul at the time was stationed at Pensacola, Florida, a six hour drive from Orlando.  Him and his Navy friends came to visit a few times and we all enjoyed the parks for free.  Paul spent Christmas week with me in Disney and I enjoyed the Pensacola beaches. I can honestly say that the four months I spent in Disney were the best of my life.  I'll never forget the great friends I made and all of the amazing memories.
