Introduction
Live music has been a part of society since the beginning of civilization. Since the beginning of time, music has provided communities and cultures with a source of communication, celebration and reflection.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s a number of pioneers sought to capture sound on a device for playback later. A number of inventors, including Thomas Edison, worked on various machines and devices to provide people with a way to own “live music”. These inventions helped advance the popularity of music throughout the world by providing the music in mass quantities.

Gramophones, victorolas, long play records, 8-track, cassettes and CDs were all invented to provide users with a copy of what was originally a live recording. It should be noted however, that even with all of these advances in technology through the past 150 years, music is meant to be performed, and enjoyed live. Unfortunately, providing fans with live performances of their favorite bands and artists has been impossible.

Until now!
